Yokat Creative Inspiration

Personally, me, an artist, like the lines of Japanese manga because it’s not very neat, it still has lines that show fluidity, which here is my favorite expression of the lines. I used to work on printmaking when I was a student. Studying at that time made me feel like and fascinated by Japanese printmaking that used woodblock technique to paint on prints, so the background of Yokat expresses the feeling like woodblock technique. For the main character of Yokat, I’m a cat lover, I used to have two cats. Undoubtedly, I decided to draw the cat as the main character of this project.
